The Jashim Uddin Nursing College authorities have introduced a cutting-edge Placement Cell dedicated to facilitating job placements. Its primary objective is to secure quality employment opportunities for senior students by forging strong connections with reputable industries both domestically and internationally. The key functions of the Placement Cell include:
- Collecting Student Information: Gathering resumes, phone numbers, and email addresses to compile a comprehensive database of student profiles.
- Online Database: Maintaining an updated list of student profiles on the college website for easy access by potential employers.
- Job Arrangements: Facilitating job placements for senior students by reaching out to prospective employers, fostering good relationships with them, and establishing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) when necessary.
- Assessing labor market demand. To create and supply skilled manpower accordingly.
- Labor Market Assessment: Assessing the demand in the labor market to ensure the supply of skilled manpower aligns with industry needs.
- Job Placement Fair- Organizing job placement fairs to connect students with potential employers and facilitate job opportunities for graduates.
- Publication: Producing a placement magazine that provides information about potential employers, job opportunities, and guidelines for securing employment.
- Assistance with Overseas Opportunities: Assisting students in finding and coordinating communications for overseas job placements, including guidance on joining overseas job sites.
- As part of the growth of Clinical Practice
- Inviting senior officials as Guest Lecturers at 250 bedded General Hospital, Jamalpur Sadar. Encouraging their active participation in meetings, seminars.
Through these initiatives, the Placement Cell aims to support students in their transition from education to employment, ensuring they have the necessary resources and opportunities to pursue successful careers in nursing.
